Zero Grid Accounting was created to meet the needs of businesses.
After my wife started her own business 6 years ago as a graphic designer, I very quickly realized that in order to run that business well, she needed someone to tackle daily admin tasks, and her books were at the top of her list.
Frustrated. Overwhelmed.
Bookkeeping wasn’t her expertise, and she quickly fell behind.
I was able to use my experience as a Senior Accountant for a local accounting firm to provide professional accounting services to her and other small businesses who really need it. Zero Grid exists to meet the accounting needs of businesses in an honest and affordable way.
I quit my job as a big corporate accountant, and shifted my focus to helping small businesses. As I’ve experienced myself, starting a small business is no easy feat. I’m eager to take the daunting task of accounting off of your plate so that you can focus on your customers and your business (which is how it should be).

I’m a husband, and an adoptive dad to two amazing kids. I love exploring the great outdoors (which includes hiking, biking, and fishing), and dream of owning a homestead and farm someday. My God and my conservative values are important to me. I’m a family man through and through.

Why “Zero Grid?”
My family and I are in a season of exploration! We hit the road in our RV in fall of 2021, and haven’t looked back. So in all sense of the phrase, we are (sometimes figuratively, sometimes very literally) “off grid.”
And THEN (hang with me, this is the nerdy part) “zero” because “off” to a computer reads as a zero. Like this: 0. Which I obviously deal with a lot of in accounting. Therefore “Zero Grid” is a play on “Off Grid.” Told ya it was nerdy.
